Volunteer at the MCC!
The Muslim Community Center of Louisville (MCC) relies heavily on the support of volunteers to carry out its programs and services. Volunteers play a critical role in supporting the organization's mission of serving the Muslim community and promoting interfaith dialogue and understanding in the Louisville area.
Volunteer involvement at MCC can take many forms. Some of these are detailed below.
To get involved with the MCC as a volunteer, interested individuals can reach out to the organization directly or contact our Imam at imamofmcc@gmail.com. We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experience levels, and provides training and support for those who are new to volunteering.
Volunteers are highly valued at MCC, and their contributions are essential to the success of the organization. The organization recognizes the important role that volunteers play in advancing its mission, and provides opportunities for volunteers to engage with the community, develop new skills, and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Community Events
Volunteers can help with community outreach efforts, including organizing events and programs, helping with setup and cleanup, and promoting MCC's mission in the broader community. Eid and Taraweeh are examples of events that need plenty of hands.
Educational Programs
MCC offers a range of educational programs for people of all ages, and volunteers can assist with teaching, tutoring, and mentoring students, pending approval from program organizers and the Imam.
Fundraising
Volunteers can help with fundraising efforts, such as organizing events & coordinating other fundraising activities. The MCC Committee leads events that seek to give back to the Louisville community regularly, and often need volunteers.
